On Sunday the club held the Hutt Valley Hunting & Fishing –Duck Shooters Event. The weather played its part by turning on a glorious autumn day – with no wind! The lack of wind may not be great for simulating ducks but it makes for great fun at a pre-season eye-opener!
Great targets were thrown and plenty of good scores were posted. Congratulations to Paul Hullet for taking out the HOA with a score of 95, Lee-Anne Walker winner of the ladies competition with 75, and Ben Jolly taking out the junior’s category with 75.
Also congratulations to the lucky shooters who each nabbed one of the $500 Hutt Valley Hunting & Fishing vouchers.
