Benign winter conditions with a rising wind but good sun leaving few excuses for todays Gun City sponsored sub gauge Sporting 100.

Terry Thomson shot a very tidy 92 winning 28 gauge with Wairarapa stalwart Greg Hamilton second and newish shooter George Morrah 3rd with a borrowed 28 gauge (and now well and truly hooked on small gauge shooting).

Brian Manton won 20 gauge with 90, from club president Ian Gallagher showing his mettle besting Eddie Ng into 3rd.

Good to see support for this event with visitors from Hawke’s Bay (evergreen Tony King a notable sub gauge proponent) and others enjoying the fields using their 12 gauges.

NZ rep Adam Green shooting 98 before lunch before jumping on a flight to the USA for the World FITASC later this month, good luck Adam smoke em up!
