On the 6th April the Hutt Valley Clay Target Club held its Compak Club Championship.
While the first day was a sub gauge competition – today was the big dance – the Club Championship!!!
Reno Verde, evergreen Al Markham and once again that guy Ben Jolly headline Day 2 of the Compak weekend as A,B and C grade winners.
Well done, no ice creams today but targets set by ice cold hearted field setters providing a tough but enjoyable trial for all as befitting a club championship.
A grade: Reno from the durable Brian Manton and Terry Thomson.
B grade: Al from Horowhenua visitor Nick Bennik and Matt Petengell.
C grade: Ben just 4 targets off HOA, Corey Brown and Jacob Hepburn.
Special mention to our C grade cohort who will quickly move up the ranks, Ben having featured across all disciplines lately, Jacob raising eyebrows with his recent efforts and today Corey in his first Compak championship looking like a natural talent, great movement and timing Corey.
